Course Description

Our 3-day AutoCAD Mechanical course equips participants with essential skills and knowledge to effectively use the software. Throughout the course, attendees will master the workspace, create multiple drawings, and achieve drawing precision. Key topics include making changes in drawings, managing layers, working with object types like arcs, polylines, and ellipses, and utilizing editing commands. Additionally, participants will learn about blocks, setting up drawing templates, printing, adding text, hatching, and dimensioning.

Course Outline

  1.   Use drawing and editing commands to develop 2D technical drawings
  2.   Organize drawing components by applying line types, layers, and object properties
  3.   Create and modify geometry using precise input methods and construction tools
  4.   Annotate drawings clearly with dimensions, leaders, and text
  5.   Insert and manage blocks, hatches, and reusable components in a drawing
  6.   Set up layouts and prepare drawings for plotting with correct scale and formatting
  7.   Apply industry drafting standards and templates to maintain drawing consistency
